"American Idol" Office Pool
Start by Creating your pool...
To create an "American Idol" elimination pool, you must first become a member of MyOnlinePool.com (MOP). Once you are logged in to you member account you can create an "American Idol" pool and become your pool's "Moderator". As the moderator, you'll need to create a "pool name", set a "pool password" and send your friends invitations to join your pool. You'll be able to provide your pool members with complete pool details through the website console and/or by email. Players simply join the pool using the information contained in the email invite. There is NO FEE for a player to join and play in your pool, a small fee will be assesed to the moderator only for pools greater than 3 players.

How to Play
After becoming a member and joining a pool, enter the pool by clicking on the pool name in your 'MyPools' page. Then, each week, you will select the contestants that you pick to advance (first 3 weeks and final week) or be eliminated (elimination weeks). This will continue each week until the 'Final 2' round where the American Idol winner is chosen. There are a total of 14 rounds and each round has a specific point value for each correct pick you make. Each week, players will have up until the time of the elimination show to make their selections.
Making Selections (Weekly selections must be completed before the elimination show begins each thursday)
To make your selections go to your "American Idol" pool and click on the "MyPicks" tab. Then, select from all the contestants competing for that week and click "update". You must enter picks in order to receive points.

Results and Scoring
After the the weekly results have been posted, the leader board will be updated with each players round points and total score for the season. At the end of the competition, the "bonus pick" points will be added to determine each player's final score.

Who Wins
The player with the most points at the end of the American Idol competition is declared the winner.
Pool Moderator's Management Console
Once you've created your pool, as the
pool moderator you will have various tools to help you manage and/or customize your pool. You can access pool info, post a message to your pool's homepage to share with your pool members, set point values for bonus picks, add new pool members and more. See below for a screenshot of some of the pool options.
