The PGA Masters Championship - Golf Tournament Pools (Professional Golf Association Championships--Golf Office Pools)

Creating your 2009 "PGA Masters" pool
Sign up as a member of MyOnlinePool.com (MOP). Once you are logged in to you member account you may "create" a pool and become the "Pool Moderator" or you may join a pool you have been invited to. The moderator is responsible for creating the pool's name, sending invites/emails to "join", setting the point values for each of the four rounds of golf and providing complete pool details to all its pool members via the moderator's message console or by email.

How to Play "The Masters" Pool
For each tournament that you run a pool, enter your pool and go to the "My Picks" page where you'll select a nine player team for the current tournament. There are drop-down menus to select your team players. You may change or update your picks up until 2am PST on the first day of each tournament. In other words, you must select your nine person team by Thursday at 2am PST (early Thursday morning of the current tournament before anyone tees off). There are 6 categories of points that we track each day of the tournament and the point values for each category is set by the moderator of your pool.

Point Categories
Int he "TOP 3" through each round awards points to any player at least tied for 3rd or better on the tournament leaderboard that given day. "Lowest Round of Day" is for all players with the lowest score for each round. "Top 10" through each round awards points to any player at least tied for 3rd or better on the tournament leaderboard that given day. Shooting "Eagles" will earn 1 point, the "Champion" of the Tournament will earn points as well as each correct FedEx "Match Play" selection you make.
NOTE:
Moderator sets point values categories and for each round.

Making Selections (All selections must be completed 3 hours before the tournament begins)
To make or edit your picks, just click on the "My Picks" tab and you should default into the current majors tournament selections. Use the drop down menus to make your nine person team for that tournament's "Team Play" and select 10 winners for the FedEx "Match Play" matchups.

Who Wins "The Masters" Pool
The player in your pool who has earned the most points at the end of the current PGA Majors golf tournament is declared the winner.

In order to "Create" or "Join" a Pool you must first signup for FREE MOP membership.
